Rene Marie Russo is an American actress filmmaker and former supermodel. Her elegant beauty and her success in the film industry reflect her talents as a model. In the 1970s when she started her modeling career, and soon was one of the most prominent actors in the industry. Then, in the mid 1990s she started studying theatre and acting. In the following years, in Los Angeles and California she appeared on stage for the first time. Russo first made her television debut on ABCs Sable as Eden Kendell, in 1987. Two years later she played Tom Berengers love interest in her first movie Major League. Her initial doubts were about her ability as an actor but critics soon became impressed by her performances. In Wolfgang Petersens Outbreak she was hailed by the critics for her performance against Dustin Hoffman, Morgan Freeman and others. She claims that she was never a fan for acting. Rose Namajunas was one of UFC's top female athletes. She began her professional career as an amateur athlete taking part in numerous regional promotions before signing with Invicta Fighting Championships. And after that, she signed with Ultimate Fighting Championships. Thanks to her accomplishments both inside and beyond the Octagon, Namajunas has become known as a common name since joining UFC. Namajunas is the name of a Lithuanian born American, who was born on the 29th of June 1992 at Milwaukee Wisconsin. As a child, Rose was involved in activities like basketball and kickboxing. Invicta Fighting Championships signed her when she was 18 years old and she was able to win 2 fights via submission. Dana White noticed this and in December 2014, at the age of 22, she signed her for a fight as a strawweight with UFC. Rose has experienced highs & lows during her career. But she has always been a winner. Rose was a fighter against Carla Esparza at The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale in April 2015. The winner was given the Women's Strawweight Champion and was also named the Fighter of The Night. It was the first time that a female wrestled in a major event in a title fight. Following this victory Namajunas continued to win other victories in which she defeated Joanna Jedrzejczyk twice which earned her Performance Of The Night honors from UFC in the wake of these wins .
